about

1984 - Mellow Records reissue: 1994

A fine and obscure slice of symphonic prog coming
from Japan from 1984.
The only one album released by Sagittarian.
These japanese had courage when they offer this
kind of music in 1984 when with some exceptions
the prog movement was in underground.

Mainly instrumental with some vocal parts sporadicaly
integrated in the music.
The album overall is good, there are some very nice
pieces that show potential like opening track or
the best tune from the album "Rain-Carnation".

Good keyboard driven prog with some guitars here
and there make from this album an enjoyble listening.

Is incredible keeping in mind that this album was released
in dark days of prog, 1984 is maybe the worst year in prog
in last 45 years of prog music.

Similar with Zaragon from denmark or
The Foundation from Sweden.
