Marco Masoni was born in Pisa in 1973,
to 15 years begins to play a classical guitar.
At 17 he began to play along with the band.
He started playing the acoustic guitar
(sometimes 12-string) and then the bass guitar.

In 1991 he founded the Germinal,
progressive rock band with which affect fourth album,
containing many of his compositions:
Germinale (Mellow Records, 1994);
... e il suo respiro ancora agita le onde... (Mellow Records, 1996);
Cielo e Terra (Mellow Records, 2001);
Scogli di Sabbia (BTF / Vinyl Magic, 2005).
The Germinale are considered by critics and the public
one of the most original groups of prog revival of the early 90s.

In 2005, the group stops, but Marco Masoni participates
in years (solo or with various bands)
to tribute album dedicated to Gentle Giant, Caravan, Gong,
Moody Blues, Franco Battiato, Marillion, Anthony Phillips.

April 21, 2014 by AMS Records, he recorded his first
solo album "Il Multiforme".
