about

Switzerland 1980,
never released on CD.

Magic Spell is an obscure progressive rock band
from Switzerland,
releasing one album in 1980 named
"Is There Anywhere A Gasstation?".
The album is very rare and hard to find.
This is fastball-down-the-middle progressive rock,
with clear nods to early Genesis, late 70s Eloy,
mid 70s Grobschnitt and a host of other Swiss bands
like Agamemnon, Elysium and Eloiteron.

One of the better ones released
from this peculiar Swiss scene.
