Agent K(ahunasan) Prime Kansas in a Live Setting from their most productive period '75-'77.
This band simply does not get enough credit in my opinion in Prog circles.
Their virtuosity was always on full display in the live arena.
Even though Mr Walsh, Mr.Steinhardt & Mr. Livgren are no longer members; even the re-vamped current line-up pumps life into these classic trax on tour.
Simply a joy to hear the ORIGINAL band in full flight in their heyday.
A must for KANSAS fans! Favorite track: Icarus / Born on Wings of Steel (CD1).
Pie

Pie A reasonably good recording - not brilliant, but perfectly acceptable. The overall performance does not approach the (much) more polished "Two for the Show" which appeared two years later. Nevertheless, in the absence of a better "Leftoverture" tour document, I unhesitatingly recommend this record. Favorite track: Magnum Opus (incl. Steve Walsh improvisation and Phil Ehart solo) (CD2).
