about

GOAD were first formed in the Florence area by the
Rossi brothers, Gianni and Maurilio, in the late Seventies.
The years 2005-2006 brought a flurry of activity in the
band's ranks.
First, they recorded the album "The Wood - Dedicated
to H.P. Lovecraft", with the help of several notable guest
musicians; it was released by Mellow Records in 2006.
"The wood" is the perfect soundtrack to the Lovecraftian
poetry: the cosmic horror.
The result is a new progressive broad, extensive,
balanced between keyboards and guitars, with subtle
but decisive interventions violin and trumpet, very
attentive to the texts.
Among the most inspired works from the
discography Goad.
