Francesco was born in Bologna in 1954.
He began his musical exploration at the age of 8,
but his breakthrough revelation came upon hearing
Pink Floyd's "Atom Heart Mother," when he had
the realization of electronic music's possibilities.
After 4 years with the band Ex Aequo, he went solo
and released his first proper album in 1979.
Today he writes music for films, television, as well
as a new series of CDs issued in the 90s and 00s.
Electro symphonic soundscapes from a late 70s
The abum called "Journey" (1979) is one long title
featuring electronic equipements, sequencers and
lyrical (romantic dreamy-like) textures for piano.
The edition is published with extra tracks in a rather
similar style + some rocking progressive songs.
A classic for prog-lovin' customers.
